Hayden Flour Mills Farro Crackers
It's pretty rare to find a premium Farro cracker, so you can image we were utterly delighted when we first tasted these lovely crackers from our friends at Hayden Flour Mills.
Tasting notes: Emmer Farro is one of the earliest grain varieties and is named after the Pharaohs of Egypt. It's earthy with hints of walnuts, making it the perfect pairing with strong blue cheese.
Serve it up: Like the pyramids of Egypt, these crackers are built to last, so they're undoubtedly hearty enough to hold a hefty chunk of smoked fish. We particularly enjoy the flavor of Farro paired with our milder varieties of salmon like Smoked Pink or Smoked Coho, but really love the taste of Farro paired with our Smoked Octopus (Bonus points: if you have an extra tin of our octo on hand, try this Farro Salad).
