Tasting notes: "Bullwhip" is the local name for one of our favorite types of sea green—bull kelp. This hot sauce is flavor first, heat second. A deep savory flavor from the kelp paired with heat from piri piri pepper will ignite your taste buds and leave your mouth warm.
Serve it up: We never brunch without Bullwhip. Add one dash to our King Salmon Frittata and four to add heat and a zing of fresh flavors to our Geoduck Bloody Caesar.

Wildfish guarantees delivery to all U.S. locations, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico & U.S. Territories, and what we fondly refer to as "the Lower-48." Orders are shipped on business days only via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.
Orders are normally fulfilled 2-5 days after they are placed (depending on volume of orders in the queue). Shipping normally takes anywhere from 5-14 business days from the day the order was fulfilled. Though we hope to be able to offer them in the future, expedited shipping, international shipping, and shipping options via alternative carriers are not available at this time.
Most orders ship from our fulfillment partner in Utah. Trust us, you don't want us shipping your order to the lower 48 from our remote cannery. In the winter we can go days without mail coming or leaving the island! Although it's not always possible, we do try to ship all Alaska orders directly from the cannery in Klawock.
Refunds and Returns
Wildfish is happy to issue an exchange or return shipping label at the buyer's expense for non-food items that are damaged or tampered with only. Size discrepancies are not considered damaged or tampered with. We cannot accept returns on food items, but are happy to issue a refund or replacement if your canned or jarred good has been damaged or tampered with. Please email us at info@wildfishcannery.com and provide a photo if possible: this is helpful in ensuring we are able to be very specific when speaking to our team about potential oversights and quality control.
Please note:
The handling of our product is something we take quite seriously, as it affects the integrity of the seafood and the presentation we strive for in our hand-packed product (especially our delicate salmon.) We recommend shipping no more than twice—once from us to you, and once more from you to your loved ones if you plan on gifting. This means products that have been returned to us are out of commission. Due to the inability to re-stock product, Wildfish Cannery will not issue refunds or be responsible for replacing packages that are refused, abandoned, addressed incorrectly, showing as "Delivered," or otherwise flagged for "Return to Sender." We do not take returns if you decide that you don't like it.
Lost Packages
We understand that shipping isn't entirely risk-free. While we cannot guarantee a replacement of lost packages, we're happy to work with our customers to figure out the best means of replacement.
About Proposition 65
Proposition 65, officially the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law that requires warnings be provided to California consumers when they might be exposed to chemicals identified by California as causing cancer or reproductive toxicity. The warnings are intended to help California consumers make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals from the products they use. The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) administers the Proposition 65 program and publishes the listed chemicals, which includes more than 850 chemicals. In August 2016, OEHHA adopted new regulations, effective on August 30, 2018, which change the information required in Proposition 65 warnings.

Wildfish Cannery complies with all pertinent laws, including Proposition 65. We have chosen to provide a Proposition 65 notice to be compliant. The warning does not mean that Wildfish Cannery products will cause any harm. Similarly, a Proposition 65 warning does not mean a product is in violation of any product-safety standards or requirements. In fact, the California government has clarified that “the fact that a product bears a Proposition 65 warning does not mean by itself that the product is unsafe.” The government has also explained, “You could think of Proposition 65 more as a ‘right to know’ law than a pure product safety law.” See https://www.p65warnings.ca.gov for additional information.

ABOUT SEAFOOD MONITORING IN ALASKA
Environmental contaminants can threaten the health of ecosystems and have negative impacts on the health and well being of fish and wildlife by reducing growth, development, reproduction, and survivability of individuals and potentially impacting populations. The Department of Environmental Conservation is concerned about Alaska's natural resources and the health of the residents of the state. Consequently, the Fish Monitoring Program (FMP) was established to determine the presence of bioaccumulative contaminants in Alaska's fishes and monitor spatial and temporal trends in the levels of those contaminants in fish tissue.
Important commercial, recreational, and subsistence fish and shellfish species are analyzed for trace metals (methyl mercury, total mercury, total arsenic, inorganic arsenic, selenium, copper, lead, cadmium) as well as persistent organic pollutants (POPs) such as: dioxins and furans, organochlorine pesticides, PCB congeners, brominated fire retardants, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), personal care products, and pharmaceuticals.
Fish and environmental samples are collected from all over the state, primarily in coastal marine waters and some coastal watersheds. In addition, fish are collected from streams, rivers, and lakes that are important to subsistence and sport fisherman. Industry, regulators, scientists and the public benefit from this information by being able to make informed decisions about fish consumption and the impact of environmental contaminants on commercial and subsistence fisheries in Alaska.
