What's in the box

Tasting notes: Smoky, briny and succulent (pun definitely intended), our smoked octopus is a special treat. It’s also notably been named by Monterey Bay Seafood Watch as a ‘Best Choice’ sustainable species.

Serve it up: We like it paired with a fine whiskey, or dressed with olive oil and lemon for an amazingly smoky Pulpo a la Gallega. Like many of our offerings, we recommend first enjoying straight from the can, but then please let your curiosity get the better of you. Get started with some of our favorite Galley inspirations, from the sinful Octo-Mayo with Nori Fries, to our playful spin on Osaka's favorite street food, to a light and bright Farro Salad

In a nutshell

Smoked giant pacific octopus, pot-caught in the bering sea. chewy, smoky, scandalously succulent—wild tentacles in a tin, because we can the unthinkable.

Caught Wild. Canned Wild. Made With Care In Alaska.

Our giant Pacific octopus is pot-caught in the cold, storm-driven waters of the Bering Sea, then flash-frozen and transported to our cannery in Klawock.

Then we do something extra:

We smoke it over natural hardwood, turning this ocean giant into something entirely new—savory, slightly sweet, and hauntingly delicious. Each tin is slow-pressure cooked in small batches to seal in tender texture and the clean taste of the deep. It’s a rare taste of Alaska you won’t soon forget.

Only the best!

This has got to be some of the finest smoked seafood I've ever tasted. I live in Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula and enjoy some amazing fish from our local rivers and seas. Our local native tribes have been smoking fish for hundreds of years. It's the best I've ever had. Wildfish Cannery is definitely in the same league. Their products are truly Alaskan and made with heart and soul. Definitely worth every penny. Please keep up the good work. Thanks.

A bit chewy

Some pieces super tender and some chewy. My husband loves it though and it’s his gift.
